Continuing Education / Accreditation
Continuing education credits will be available for physicians, nurses, registered dietitians, dietetic technicians, and certified health educators attending Nutrition 2018. The maximum number of credits will be announced after the program is complete.
Physicians: This activity is being planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) and the American Society for Nutrition. TUSM is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Nurses: Tufts University School of Medicine Office of Continuing Education is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Registered Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians, registered: ASN (Provider #NS010) is accredited and approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a provider of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) programs for Registered Dietitians. Dietitians and dietetic technicians, registered should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Certified Health Education Specialists: Nutrition 2018 will be submitted to the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing for continuing education contact hours.
